In April 2022 I was promoted to a data engineer at Axis Group, shedding the “associate” label. I was now saddled with increasing responsibilities and expectations. This promotion led to a period of meteoric growth, feedback and adjustments.

- “Always loop in your project manager”: Project managers are quite literally employed to manage the project. They are your best asset in terms of planning and scoping responsibilities
- Workshop communication to clients if unsure. In dealing with a particularly intense client I learned the value of projecting the right tone with certain clients. Up to that point I had succeeded without much thought to this skill; this challenge represented an evolution in my professional skills
